What Should I Wear?
31. October 2009
In general, Disney does not want to see adults in elaborate “costumes” because they don’t want uninformed tourists mistaking us for actual Cast Members. Fortunately, much of the clothing in the Wizarding World falls into the parameters of normal Muggle attire. Take school clothes, for example: what’s wrong with wearing a collared shirt, striped tie and sweater vest? American Muggles wear these things all the time.
What's the Stickam link for Ghost Adventures Live tonight?
31. October 2009
Looking around and I can’t find it. They have it here: http://www.travelchannel.com/Ghost_Adven tures_Live/live/video-chat.html
However, it’s not what I’m looking for. I can’t seem to find it on Stickam’s search engine either. So, help anyone?
Diciplinary actions from Finra for brokers?
30. October 2009
If you have a an outside business/part time job and you don’t report it on your U4 would Finra take disiplinary actions against you?
No BUT, they can come after the firm you are with
However, if the part time job/business is not related to securities and/or you are not using the firm’s customers base or the firm’s facilities nothing will happen to you and or the firm. None of which has to be reported on your U4
But, you should cover you butt by notifying, in writing, your compliance manager or your sale manager. Speak directly to either one to get their opinions, if they verbally approve, just drop them a written follow up.
I had several of my people with U4s 63’s, and even 7’s have part time jobs/business and none of them required amending U4’s but I did keep their notice in their file so that it was always there in the event the Exchange or SEC examiers wanted to check.

If it was a conflict of interest they probably would. You are suppose to report any conflicts of interest.

Celebrate a Green Halloween in NYC – Tonic
30. October 2009
Happy Halloween! If you’re in the New York City area on Oct. 31 and are looking for some spooky good fun, check out the Green Halloween festivities featuring street parties, DJs, creative artists, a parade and floats, costume gala, and more.
Green Halloween is a group that’s trying to get us to think about our favorite Fall holiday in a healthier, greener way . Like, do we really need all the sugary snacks in our ever-expanding bellies, and a bunch of cheap throwaway plastic tombstones on our lawns? If Green Halloween had its way, the holiday would be more about community and creativity. What’s not to like about that? And this Saturday, the group is putting its money where it’s mouth is.
Look, we didn’t say you couldn’t have any treats or have any fun. Au contraire, it’s all about fun and Green Halloween has plenty going on to keep you busy this weekend. These events are Tonic-sponsored, so you know they’re all good. Dig it:
On Sat., Oct. 31, multiple artists and groups are coming together to make a major statement with a uniquely creative and fun Halloween celebration. This 18+ hour marathon will include:
Noon-5pm: The Green Halloween Community Festival.

If you will be subservient to me, I will teach you the rudiments of S&M, pricking you with gibes about your inadequate nature while demonstrating my bumptious nature. We will not engage in repartee but I will satiate your desire to be controlled. If you resist in any way, I will cite the reasons by which I will sanction your behavior and handle your failure to obey with vivacious but effective punishments. If you are consonant in your submissiveness, I will reward you as I see fit.

Their gibes affected his confidence.
Sometimes people from New York can seem bumptious.
